Good "Bug Out" Pack
Review Date: February 11, 2010
Reviewer: J. Doyle, Northeast, USA
I purchased this to use as a "bug out" pack. It is a good size, comfortable to carry, appears to be made well and will fit a decent amount of supplies. The zip pouch at the top is good for your wallet, keys and other small accessories you may need to carry. Overall, a nice product for a very good price.

Starter Backpack
Review Date: March 16, 2010
Reviewer: Amanda L. Baker, USA
This is a great starter backpack. I bought it for my son who just bridged over to Boy Scouts. It will serve him well. It was definitely worth the price I paid.
Mine arrived with a little zipper damage. It was a simple repair, but still an annoyance.

very good low-budget "day and a half" pack
Review Date: April 13, 2008
Reviewer: a Goldwater libertarian,
It's less than ideal but much more than a cloth sack.
It has just enough "bells and whistles" (adjustments, pockets, loops) to make it flexible enough for weekend expeditions if you know how to pack light.
Two people (experienced packers)with two of these and some stuff hanging from loops did fine in Zion National Park backcountry for three days in 2007.

PART 2 of 3 ////////////// Sleeping under the stars is a bit overrated for me. Seems the bugs attack, the critters find you, the wind blows away your body heat, frost and condensation soak your bag, then the rain falls, and no matter what your gear gets filthy. A minimalist tent tarp, bivy, or floor-less tent are some ways to avoid to some of those hassles. But my favorite option is a quality designed and constructed lightweight backpacking tent like the ones profiled in this Nutnfancy …
U.S. Divers offers a variety of professional-quality travel bags--from handheld bags to duffels with shoulder straps--to enhance your snorkeling and diving adventures. Of all the bags, the Coast travel bag is easily the handiest for snorkelers, with a host of convenient pockets and features. The Coast bag is distinguished by its durable heavy-duty nylon construction, with mesh panels along the top and bottom adding ventilation and drainage in wet conditions. Snorkelers will also dig the large main pocket, which offers more than enough room for fins, a mask, and the snorkel itself, and the outside pocket, which holds such personal items as a phone, wallet, or jewelry. Best of all, the bag comes with both backpack straps and a carrying handle, giving you several carrying options in a pinch. Measuring 8 by 22 by 6 inches (W x H x D), the Coast bag is backed by a two-year limited warranty.
