Great video, Cant wait to see ur trip u took this past fall…..Keep up the good work
That’s an awesome packing job. Excellent video.
whats in the door in the wall XD
Hobbits of course! Actually it’s just something I put together to cover our main water line shutoff and meter.
Very informative but I too was transfixed by the wee door in the wall! Happy St. Pat’s!
Enjoyed the short video very nice. You mention in the tags provincial interior and park.
Are you referring going into the Q??
You have a great saw you use there, Its the one we bring along also. They (the saw) can be purchased in Pariagas in Ely MN among other great canoe gear,
Just curios though when in a canoe there
is sometimes water in the bottom (bilgewater) but do you use any type of plastic liner to keep the contents dry when on the bottom or the event of a capsize?
Thanks for vid.
How much does the pack and gear weigh?
Thanks
I have the various weights depending on the trip posted on my web site (w w w MaddyTheGoose period com) under the Gear/Complete List section. If I’m going solo with my dog Maddy it weighs in at about 39 pounds (that includes some dog food and various other doggy related items). If I were strictly hiking I would look to shave off more weight.
Love all of your videos! Very informative. Keep them coming – especially your solo adventures! These help cure my Spring Fever!
thank you very much for sharing awesome.
where do you pack the rest of the water gear?
I have a video in the wings that I’m editing of a solo trip I did this summer that details just that. It pretty much all gets attached to the boat.
