I have 2 survival packs one that is made of an old ammo pouch just for emergencies when hiking and one like the here for earthquakes that has been my core kit. I got some great ideas for additions and Thank youy for sharing your knowledge. Siempre Fi
Just want to say THANK YOU for posting these videos on a survival backpack I really learned alot about what to carry. Just wondering if you are going to make any reviews on any firearms you have?? Thanks again!

lmao I am a trooper I watched all 5 vids.
Obama survival kit I will be packing
plastic canvas for a tent
Good job on the video
wish it was louder on my comp.
We may be living in the wild soon with no jobs and no housing.
What is a small harpoon tip sounds like a good idea to slingshot a line out into the water if you can do it without the hook cactching you on the release.
how do sulfur tablets keep the bugs away
ho do you use them
you take it orally. The problem is that they are hard to find. Another thing you can do is eat plenty of garlic. Then when this comes out in your sweat and bugs dont like it.
im a trooper!
where can you get water purification tablets?
I always keep spare fast-x & tri-glide buckles along with a few meters of 1″ webbing to fix any strap failures. A small rescue saw ( diamond bit embedded wire w/ finger loops, works great and feather wgt ). The (red ) bio hazard bags are extremely durable. BEST pack I ever had was issued to Australian Army, the tubular frame was the canteen and the backpiece was the main water bladder. Drained from the bottom into the tubing & pressure from the pack wgt against your back = 0 sloshing.
yay!
Great vid Pack Rat. Thanks. I have a Condor 3 day pack. Lots of room for all kinds of things. As for rain gear, I use a non-oiled drover coat ( or duster), Better coverage than a poncho especially if you Scotch Gard it. Goes down to ankles. It makes a good stay warm blanket. You can get them at cowboy action shooting events and other dealers.
I carry a US military poncho, a reusable military mylar casualty blanket and 100 ft of paracord at the least. I do own tents as well but in a self-reliance situation, I would be able to fend with the poncho/tarp setup or a natural shelter made from what can be found in nature. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Dakota? That is all it says on the blade. It is a no name brand but has been an awesome knife.
Okay, thanks i thought i missed something
something very basic that you forgot is binoculars, whether it be a hostile situation or your just lost these can be very handy (im not trying to offend you). Good Videos Ive been trying to make a tactical bug out bag, im 15 and my parents are sort of (y would u need this nothings going to happen) but id rather be prepared, they made me take it apart and a week later i rebuilt it so im trying to get alot of information on this type of stuff thanks
Just watched all 5 parts(!) Seems like you got everything covered!
You’re prepared for just about any trouble you may encounter one day. 5/5 (to all parts)
a monocular would work almost as well and save weight/space.
Great series Pack Rat, I’m looking into getting a new Maxpedition pack myself
5/5
Wal-Mart carries water purifican tablets in the outdoor section.
