I like the fact that this tent comes with a 10 yr warranty and that it uses aluminum poles. This is a great 1 person tent and an adequate 2 person tent. It is quality made and very durable and you cant beat the price! Also be sure you look for the "other" tent exactly listed like this one on amazon because they offer a cheaper price and shipping! Also always seam seal every tent you may buy, will save you a headache later!

| We took this backpacking in Colorado, and it passed the field test with flying colors. The tent kept us dry. The vestibule in the front was great for keeping shoes and packs dry, yet out of the inside of the tent, which is cozy for two people. The construction is good. It is reasonably light and durable. I am not a regular backpacker, but it impressed the more seasoned veteran among us. It is a good value and I recommend it highly. |
A lot in a little tent

This little lightweight tent has a lot of features packed into it.
I used this as a 1 person tent in April. Went from 90 degrees to 40's with some high winds and thunderstorms. I and my gear remained completely dry. The areas to the left and right of the door opening worked perfectly to put a tote on each side out of the sun and rain.
To keep from tracking mud into the tent, I placed a small tarp under the doorway. There was a ceiling hook that worked perfect for a light. There was room for a single sized air mattress, plus some gear at one end. Beside me there was room for a large backpack.
Setup was fairly simple after having set it up once in my living room. Packing it away was a breeze (especially compared to other tents I've owned). There is plenty of room in the carry bag for all the tents components. They bag has straps to compress the contents. It is a nice, neat, and compact tent.
I would recommend this tent for anyone looking for a 1-2 person tent.
If you find it in the thirty dollar range, it becomes a highly recommended tent. |

| I bought this tent for a Thanksgiving weekend trip up to Allegheny National Forest. It was good and cold for the trip & plenty of snow. This tent performed beautifully. I stayed warm & dry even in the cold, snowy conditions. I've bought several different tents for several different camping trips in all kinds of weather & I think I'm done buying tents after getting this. The only thing I would say is that for 2 people the quarters would be tight & all gear would have to be left outside under the rain fly. For a solo tent, it's easy to set up, keeps you warm & is lightweight enough for any kind of back packing adventures. Overall, it's a great tent at an unbeatable price! |
