Every year a crew of Smith relatives head to the mountains for some adventurous backpacking. This year we did the Wind Rivers in Wyoming. Beautiful.

In the summer of 2008 I bought a ton of backpacking equipment and went out with some friends to enjoy the outdoors. One of my goals was to do a couple of solo overnight trips in the redwoods.
